Fan Art

erratic_prophet | 27 February, 2006 15:52

I never thought I'd see the day when I'd get fan art. It's so fantastic! Me? Fan art! Wow..

The first I received via gmail from D who was looking for a picture to play with using lighting effects and whatnot. He kindly sent me the results..

Sunglasses

erratic_prophet | 25 February, 2006 22:54

We did a spot of shopping today. I found nothing at the stores-- did all of my shopping online later on. I stopped to look at some sunglasses because i desperately need a pair after my previous pair snapped. The Girl was trying on a few pairs along with me (Why are all of the sunglasses these buggy/Willy Wonka types?) when this happened...

The Boy: Holding up a pretend camera says, "Strike a pose!" and after a pause, "Different pose!"

The Girl: "I was posing all girly!"

The Boy: "It wasn't working."

Or I Picked a Bad Week to Cut Back on Caffeine...

This will surely venture where no man wants to go. Yes, the gyno's office. Again.

I went to the gyno the other day because the Depo Provera shot wore off-- or will wear off or something-- and I need some form of birth control. Not because I'm actually getting any-- by any I, of course, cotton candy, mom, so stop reading over my shoulder. I need the birth control to basically slow down my ovaries and slow down my endometriosis. Aren't you glad you stopped by to read this?

Bandwagon? Jumped On!

erratic_prophet | 16 February, 2006 10:10

Since everyone's doing this Johari Window thing, I decided to give it a go. That means all two of you, my readers, can say what you really think of me. Go on, do it. I have a thick skin.

My Johari Window

Done? Thanks! Now I can either love or hate you forever based on what you said. Kidding!

Love and Laughter

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

I spent the day making Valentines for the kids. I do this every year. As they get older, they get a bit more elaborate. This year, I put in silly little poems (nothing good or funny like Pamie's Annual Valentine's Day Poems that I love to read) I wrote to them telling them how much I love them. I like watching them pretend that they're embarrassed by the cards, playing it cool, hiding their little smiles. I hope they'll always be secretly pleased by my cheesy, corny cards.

Something a Little Different

erratic_prophet | 13 February, 2006 12:36

Thoguht the blog needed a little sprucing up.

This will either last less than a week or close to a year. Depends on how lazy or busy or annoyed with that header I get. I'm not liking that header so much.

But I'm busy...

So, uh, yeah. This post was about nothing.

Bye!

Nana Rocks!

So J's been trying to get me to listen to this band. Now to explain why I didn't immediately run and listen to them-- because, usually, J and I have very similar taste in music and that's very likely why we put up with each other-- is because I just knew I wouldn't like them. Sometimes you just get a feeling about something and you must follow that instinct even when your friend is IMing you with "god dammit. why do i post again?" But I am a good friend, so I listened. And this is the conversation that followed.. (More)

Objects In the Mirror..

erratic_prophet | 05 February, 2006 22:34

I really need to get cracking on that exercise resolution. I've been complaining about feeling unfit and flabby and blech lately. The scale hasn't really budged-- except for bloating issues, but that's expected-- but I feel, well, blech. You can't strut your sexy self around when you feel blech. You schlump. (More)

Mom's Birthday Mousse

erratic_prophet | 03 February, 2006 14:26

My mom's birthday was earlier this week. It was a big one. She wasn't happy. She wouldn't even let me bake her a cake for the big day. I was going to anyway, but realized too late that I had no eggs. (It's hard to make a cake without eggs.) I decided to make one for the weekend, just in case someone were to stop by. She couldn't argue with that logic. So I made a chocolate cake filled with chocolate mousse and strawberries with a plain white frosting. Sounds yum, doesn't it? (More)
